W.E. ROCK :: Western U.S. Qualifiers
W.E.ROCK's All Stock Nationals presented by Cooper Tires is fast approaching as the 2008 rockcrawling
season nears an end. This last weekend, 6 of the 24 qualification spots were officially locked up as the
final W.E.ROCK Western and Eastern National series came to a close.
Above All Rockcrawling's Tim Florian and Jon Moulden took the top Pro West qualification spot after
winning 3 out of the 4 season events. "We set one goal at the beginning of the season and that was
to be consistent and smart about our season. The All Stock Nationals is such an important event that
we didn't want a simple mistake keeping us out of it. Our strategy paid off, not only in a qualification,
but also a big season win for our team."
Quadratech's Kurt Shramovich and Chris Walton took the Pro West Qualification spot after winning
4 straight series events. A task that was only accomplished by two previous teams over the last 8 years.
"It was great to win 4 in a row and go down in history. West and Haines were the only guys to do it before,
I sure would like to go after West as he is last seasons top Modified Stock Driver"
The All Stock Nationals presented by Cooper Tires will be the first event of its kind. Combining the
regional W.E.ROCK sanctioned events with the W.E.ROCK Pro National Series events, the top Stock Modified
teams will be selected from both arenas and come together in a "Pros vs Joes" national championship final.
The other teams from W.E.ROCK West that have qualified are:
Below are listed all of the Teams that have qualified minus the Wild Cards which will be presented within the next two
weeks.
Any ties are determined first by the number of wins each team takes, then by the last event finish.

September 6th and 7th?
Also in their final stages are the Carolina Crawlin, R-Rock, RC Rocs, and CalRocs regional events. Though
many have dubbed the regional competitors as "Joes" to go along with the "Pros vs Joes" theme, predictions
are rolling in that many of the "Joes" are actually favored. Teams like Jeff Mello and Kevin Yoder from
CalRocs, Cooper Tires' own Jake Good and Scott Angle from the R Rock series, Pat McCartin from Carolina
Crawlin, and Team Rockhound's Jay Hopco from RC Rocs are all currently making even the "Pros" nervous with
their strong regional event performances this season.
