Coming off of 2007 as the W.E.ROCK Modified-Stock Grand National Champions, as well as three undefeated seasons in Eastern National competition, the team will be making the move to the Pro-Modified class as the next step in the evolution of a professional competition team. The partnership with Jimmy’s 4x4 is a natural fit. Their chassis’ have proven to be successful in the rock-racing circuit over the last three years and now Crush Motorsports looks to expand Jimmy’s 4x4 into professional rockcrawling.

“We are definitely excited to be working with Randy and Cottin Rodd (owners of Jimmy’s 4x4) in the building of our new Pro Modified rock-crawler”, stated driver Derek West. “With the help of all of our ‘08 partners we will be competing against the nation’s top teams.” Crush Motorsports sponsors include: BFGoodrich Tires, Johns 4x4, Marsh Racing Wheels, Dutchman Axle, Ramsey Winch, Spidertrax, and Branik Motorsports.

The 08 Jimmy’s 4x4 Jeep TJ will be supporting fiberglass body paneling from Solid MFG, a subsidiary of Jimmy's 4x4. Underneath the fiberglass is a new front axle sporting Dutchman axles, clearanced by Branik Motorsports and Spidertrax “Ultimate 60” knuckles. 37” BFGoodrich Krawler T/A Tires run on a set of proven MRW beadlock wheels. Other components include a Performance Off-road Systems hydraulic steering system, Jimmy’s 4x4 700R4 transmission, 3.8L supercharged engine, Atlas II 3.8 transfer case and a Dana 60 rear axle also housing Dutchman axles.

The new vehicle will make its competition debut on April 25th at round 1 of the W.E.ROCK Eastern Series in Hannibal, MO. “We hope to get a little practice in before the Hannibal event to get a feel for how the new Pro-Mod vehicle reacts and handles.” stated spotter Ritchie Keller. “Getting used to the new suspension will take some time and we hope to have it all dialed in by the first event”.
