The 2009 W.E.ROCK Pro-National East Series event at Rausch Creek, PA saw a tough round of shootouts.  The tough shootouts would produce some hard fought wins. In our Unlimited Class, a trio of new faces hit their career bests. Carl Shortridge would collect his first win after three seasons near the top of the podium. A.J. Condon was a shocker finishing second, and Brian Milsap came close to reaching victory for the first time. However, he would have mechanical failure during the shootout, and would fall to third after an amazing race for a team that has not been able to finish better than last or next to last. Notable finishers, Alex Vaughn, 4th (career best), Hannibal winner, Chicky Barton, 5th, and Bill Barton, 6th.

In the Pro-Modified class, Shannon Campbell came from behind in the shootout to win for the third time in the W.E.ROCK Pro-National East Series. Ken Blume got the monkey off his back, and returned to the podium for the first time this season. Derek West continues to be denied his normal spot on the top step of the podium. West will also finish third for the first time in regular season competition. Notable finishers, Danny Roher, 4th, Ron Lind (Career best), 5th, and Mike Thompson, (Career Best) 6th.

In Stock-Modified competition, Kurt Shramovich would return to the driver's seat after taking a small sabbatical and would pick up right where he left off. His winning streak continues and now stands at 6 consectutive victories in the modified stock class. Shramovich would sweep the Pro-National East Series in 2008 and would also win the 2008, W.E.ROCK All Stock Nationals. Jay Hopko would give Shramovich a run for his money, and would put up a great showing for the W.E.ROCK Sportsman RC ROCS Series and would take 2nd place. Points leader, Ricky Artes, would round out the podium.

The Formula Toyota class would see David Wine returning to victory lane. Marc Zaboth would put up a career best and would take second place. Hannibal winner, Adam Brooks, would take third.

The final round of the 2009 Pro-National East Series will be held under the lights at Dayton, July 31-August 1, 2009.
