Reno kicks off the second half of the season

Cedar City concluded the first half of the W.E.ROCK Pro-National West Series for 2009. Cody Waggoner continues to lead the championship, but 2008 champion, Jesse Haines, is just one point off of Cody's pace after winning at Cedar City. Jason Paule is lurking in 3rd place in points, and could be a threat on the temporary circuit at the Sands Regency. Brad Lovell is undefeated so far this season. However, a conflict with another event may force Lovell to give up the points lead and an undefeated season. If Lovell does't show, could Troy Bailey recapture the magic from Tucson, or will Bill Kunz take his first win at home? Justin Hall and Troy Stephens were debutant winners this season. Can Hall find his bearings, and recapture a victory at Reno? The Formula Toyota class has been entertaining this season. John James opened with a win at Tucson, but Brian Ellinger took him down in Cedar City. Can Ellinger hold on to the momentum, and deliver the Marlin Crawler team another defeat? We will be following all of those storylines and more as the second half of the season kicks off in high style. The glitz and glamour of the "Biggest Little City in the World" will be the setting for the third round of the 2009 season.
