At sites all across the United States, the 2005 World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series promises thrills for fans of all ages. Maxxis has announced that it will sponsor W.E.ROCK’s Western National and Eastern National events, which will run from February through September of this year. This year’s W.E.ROCK is actually a blend of two popular events: a merger between the CalROCS and W.E.ROCK series.

From the beginning, Maxxis has been a strong supporter of rock crawling. There are many reasons for the skyrocketing popularity of this relatively new sport: the scenes of drivers and vehicles which seem to defy gravity, forging a path straight up a sheer rock-face; the skill, timing, and unwavering teamwork required to complete even an average course; and the close network of fans and teams who meet at events throughout the season.
