W.E.ROCK invades the quiet town of Oroville, CA. during “Feather Fiesta Days”, May 6th-8th.

Tech and Registration will be held downtown on May 6th, teams will join in the Feather Fiesta Days Parade Saturday May 7th in the morning then hit the Surplus Cities Infamous Comp area known as “Urban Assault” Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Saturday night will see a band playing at the Surplus Cities Park along the River (Sponsored by Raceline Wheels).

Come join the fun as a spectator, competitor or vendor.

Friday May 6th:
Tech and Registration for teams – 4pm to 8pm
We have the street closure for tech set up for 4pm till 8pm. The live remote is from 5pm to 7pm
W.E.ROCK Staff & Teams party to celebrate the event 8pm to whenever the last person passes out – at the W.E.ROCK trailer. Movies, Videos, signing, Live music, and paintball action…

Saturday May 7th:
tech and registration (must have called Big Rich on Friday night by 8m) – 9:30am to 11:30am
Drivers meeting – 12:30pm, W.E.ROCK trailer
Spectator Gates open at 12:30am
Comp start at 1:30pm

Sunday May 8th:
Spectator gates open at 9:am
Comp starts at 10:am

Trophy presentation immediately following the shoot out.

No hotel deals and the rooms for the areas are filling fast, so reservations must be made ASAP.

 

TECH & REG: Times and location

Date: Friday – May 6th, 2011Map to Oroville tech and reg location
Time: 4pm to 8pm (rigs must be in tech line no later than 6pm)
Tech is on the 1300 block of Myers St., Registration will be at the senior center on Myers St. – 1335 Myers St.
We will be closing Myers Street (Red shaded area of map) between Montgomery and Bird Streets. Truck and Trailer parking will be on the levee east of the municipal auditorium (Blue shaded area of map). There is a road that folds around front of the auditorium from that parking lot to Myers Street. Street closure is from 3:30 to 8:30 with tech from 4pm till 8pm. Check the attached map of the downtown area. The red line is the street we will be closing. The blue box is the truck and trailer parking, The green box is the where the registration check-in table will be located and the black line is the route to and from the tech inspection area.
There will also be a live remote from the local country FM station from 5pm to 7pm to push the competition on Saturday and Sunday. Stick around to get radio interviews.
